PURPOSE:To prevent the variation of the properties of a microbial membrane with sundry germs, by sterilizing a porous film for the microbial membrane with electron beam irradiation at a dose within a specific range, filtering the cultured microorganisms with the sterilized film, and laminating the film with a similarly sterilized film. CONSTITUTION:For example, a ring spacer 2 made of polyethylene terephthalate is attached to the film 1 of a porous acetyl cellulose, and a releasing paper P is applied to the spacer. The whole assembly is put into a petri dish C, and sterilized by the irradiation with electron beam E at a dose of 0.5-5 Mrad. A culture liquid of microorganisms is filtered with the obtained film 1 to immobilize the microorganisms M on the film 1. The releasing paper P is removed, and the similarly sterilized film 3 is attached to the spacer ring 2 to obtain the objective microbial membrane 4. |
