PURPOSE:To stabilize the starting by providing two steam supplying systems, in each of which a main steam stop valve and a regulating valve are provided as a pair respectively, warming up and accelerating by means of the steam valves of the first system, and controlling the speed by means of the regulating valves of the both systems when a certain speed is exceeded. CONSTITUTION:Steam supplying systems of a first system 10 and a second system 30 are provided in a steam turbine 1. When the turbine is started, first, the main steam stop valve 11 of the first system is opened and the steam regulating valve 12 is very slightly opened to carry out warming up. After that, the regulating valve 12 is opened to accelerate and, when a certain speed is reached, the main steam stop valve 3 of the second system is fully opened, the opening of the both regulating valves 12, 22 is increased and, when 90 percent of the rated speed is reached, the control by a regulating valve takes place. |
