PURPOSE:To improve thermal conductivity and to prevent temp. rise, and thermal damage or deterioration of durability by filling a thermally conductive adhesive between a light transmitting member and its surrounding member and hardening it. CONSTITUTION:A thermally conductive adhesive 23 is filled between a light transmitting member 12 or a mouthpiece 18 and a surrounding member 16 and hardened in order to release heat generated around the terminal face of a light guide rapidly toward a connector 7. Said thermally conductive adhesive is composed essentially of a silicone, urethane, or epoxy type resin, containing thermally conductive fine particles of inorg. materials, such as SiO2 SiC, aluminum, iron, etc., and a hardening agent in order to ensure high thermal conductivity by forming heat conducting paths consisting of the filler in contact with each other in the adhesive 23. As a result, even if high intensity light irradiation heats the member 12, the heat can be rapidly released toward the surrounding member 16, thus preventing burning loss or deterioration of durability and characteristics of the member 12, the adhesive 23, etc. |
