PURPOSE:To improve cleaning performance, to prevent a copy picture and an electrostatic charger from being stained, and to prolong the life of a photosensitive body by providing a resin layer which have good releasing performance on the surface of a cleaning blade made of elastic rubber. CONSTITUTION:The cleaning blade 3' is implanted in a fixed support 4 and has the resin layers 8a and 8b with good releasing performance on the outside surface and tip surface of elastic rubber 3, and its reverse surface 8c where on resin layer is provided is pressed against the surface of the photosensitive body 1. Residual toner 9 on the photosensitive body 1 is scraped off with the resin layer 8b of the cleaning blade and shaken off because releasing performance is good on the resin layer 8b, so that the toner is prevented from being deposited even at an edge part 5'. Further, even a part 8d of the reverse surface 8c of the cleaning blade 3' which is not pressed against the photosensitive body 1 is coated with a resin layer over the entire surface of the blade to improve the cleaning performance more. |
