PURPOSE:To firmly support the terminal part of an instrument panel body by forming a pocket part on said terminal part and engaging therein a bracket which overhangs from a car body. CONSTITUTION:An instrument panel 20 consists of a panel body 21, a pad 3 fit thereon and a surface cover 4. The side end part 22 of the panel body 21 is forked into a surface-side panel 23 and a back-side panel 24, which constitute a pair of flanges 26 and 27, respectively, which face to each other via a pocket part 25 between. A bracket 29 overhanging from the inner panel 5 of a car body is engaged in said pocket part 25 so that the bracket 29 firmly supports the side end part 22 of the panel body 21. |
