PURPOSE:To shorten the length of a boss and to reduce the size of an entire rotary electric machine by forming a projection axially on a clamping nut to enable to operate externally and mounting to contain the nut in a current collecting ring. CONSTITUTION:A facing hole 15 which is slightly larger than the outer diameter of a clamping nut 16 is provided on a bonding screw of a current collecting ring so that the depth is the same as the height H of a nut. On the other hand, a plurality of projections 17 are axially formed at the outer peripheral side of the nut 16, and the structure that the nut attaching and detaching works can be performed is formed by the projections. In this case, the inner diameter D of the projection 17 is formed sufficiently large so as not to contact the outer periphery (d) of an insulating tube. Accordingly, since the height H of the nut can be shortened, necessary withstand creeping distance (l) is set to the distance between the rings, the length of the boss can be shortened, and the size of the entire rotary electric machine can be reduced. |
