PURPOSE:To compactly form the structure with which an armature will be returned as well as to eliminate the adverse effect caused by residual magnetism by a method wherein a compression spring to be used for return of armature is attached to the space located at the part opposing to the armature of a core. CONSTITUTION:The armature 2 is attracted while a spring 10 is being compressed when a current is applied to a coil 5. Residual magnetism is left on the attraction surface 6a even after the current applied to the coil 5 is cut off, but by the formation of gap G, the armature 2 quickly returns to its original position by the force of the compression spring. As the compression spring 10 is made of non-magnetic material, it is separated from the core 6 in an excellent manner. As a result, the space required is reduced, the structure can be compactly formed. Also, the stabilization of the compression spring can be contrived by the formation of a recessed part on the core, and the separation of the armature from the core is excellently performed even when residual magnetism is generated, thereby enabling to perform a high speed movement. |
