PURPOSE:To improve the electrical and mechanical properties of an electric machine by treating a hardener or a hardening catalyst on the surface of a strand, and impregnating liquid resin which is reacted and hardened with the hardener, thereby preventing an air gap in the strand corner at the center of a conductor bundle. CONSTITUTION:An enameled film and a glass tape are wound on a copper wire to form a strand, which is then dipped in a solvent in which BF3 monoethylamine is dissolved, introduced into a drying furnace to complete the treatment of the strand. The strand is wound on a die to form a coil. Then, an insulating tape is wound in a coil to complete the insulated coil, epoxy resin is impregnated and hardened in a coil unit to complete an armature coil. Thus, the amount of catalyst content in the center of the conductor bundle can be increased, gelling time can be shortened, the resin is prevented from flowing out, thereby obtaining an electric machine coil having excellent mechanical properties and thermal conductivity. |
