摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the contact between the inner peripheral surface of a center housing and the outer peripheral surface of a rotary sleeve due to instability at both ends of the rotary sleeve, by forming circumferentially extending guide grooves between the inner peripheral surface of the center housing and the outer peripheral surface of the rotary sleeve. CONSTITUTION:Guide grooves 74 extending peripherally from the starting end to the terminal end of the contact area are formed in both end parts of the discharge side inner peripheral surface of a center housing 22. When the rotary compressor is rotated, high-pressure air flows from an inlet port 71 in the starting end of the contact area, and flows into the center section through the guide grooves 74, so that the bearing load force on the contact area of an air-bearing chamber 40 is increased and as well, becomes uniform in the axial direction. With this arrangement, the rotary sleeve 30 is fluidly supported balanced horizontaly. The guide grooves may also formed in both ends of the rotary sleeve 30 and as well may be formed in both center housing 22 and rotary sleeve 30.
