PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of blast through smoothing of an air flow, by a method wherein an axial impeller is attached coaxially with a centrifugal impeller, and the axial impeller is disposed to the suction port part of the centrifugal impeller and at a distance away from the centrifugal impeller. CONSTITUTION:A centrifugal impeller 10 is attached to a motor shaft 9, and a guide 11 is located around the centrifugal impeller 10 to cover the impeller and the guide with a casing 12. An axial impeller 14 is located to a suction part 13 of the casing 12 at a specified distance (t) away from an end surface 15 of the suction port of the centrifugal impeller 10 to tighten it against the motor shaft 9 togetherwith the centrifugal impeller 10 by means of a nut 18. An approximately conical guide 16 is secured togetherwith a spacer 17 when the axial impeller 14 is fastened. This causes the axial impeller 14 to guide an air flow in a direction extending parallel to the motor shaft 9, and the air flow is uniformized during passage of it through a distance to the impeller 10 and is fed within the impeller 10 in a direction extending orthogonal to the motor shaft 9, resulting in provision of high efficiency on the whole.
