PURPOSE:To stabilize the control characteristic of an oil path exchange valve by placing a pressure control valve in an oil path for leading pressurized oil to a reaction piston for limiting the torsion of a torsion bar to be handle operated. CONSTITUTION:An oil path exchange valve 2 to be transmitted with the handle operation through a torsion bar is provided to exchange the flowing direction of operating oil from an oil pump 1 to power cylinder 3 or tank 4 thus to perform steering. A portion of operating oil in the high pressure oil path 7a is led through oil paths 7b-7d to reaction pistons 5, 5 thus to limit torsion of torsion bar. Here parallel oil paths 7e, 7e' are branched at the way of the oil path 7d and coupled with a flow control valve 13 having an opening enlarging as the car speed increases. A pressure control valve 12 to be operated by the pilot pressure produced through function of orifice (d) at the downstream of said valve 13 is placed in the oil path 7c. |
