PREPARATION OF PRINTING INK MEDIUM FOR TAKO PRINTING

PURPOSE:To provide the titled medium capable of giving a clear print when used in gravure printing using a silicone rubber plate as the transfer medium (TAKO printing), by compounding a solvent, a surface active agent such as sucrose fatty acid ester, a gelatinizing agent such as dextrin, and a silicone oil at specific ratios. CONSTITUTION:The objective ink medium can be prepared by homogeneously mixing (A) 25-75% of a solvent such as water, (B) 0.5-30% of a surface active agent such as sucrose fatty acid ester, glycerol fatty acid ester, etc., (C) 3-40% of a gelatinizing agent such as dextrin, gum arabic, etc., and (D) 0.3-50% of a silicone oil, and stirring the mixture. EFFECT:A print resistant to severe rubbing can be obtained.
