发明名称 PISTON ROD GUIDE MECHANISM OF CAR SHOCK ABSORBER
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent a one-sided contact between a piston rod and a guide bush end, improve the lubrication between them, and stabilize the damping force by providing an axial hole having a small inner diameter at the center and a gradually increased inner diameter toward both ends on a housing at the open end of a cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The hole 14a of a housing 14 at the open end of a cylinder 11 is narrowed inward at the center in the axial direction, and the axial cross section is formed in an arc shape. A guide bush 15 fixed to the inner periphery of a back metal 15a is fitted to the inner wall surface of this hole 14a. The inner sliding surface 16 of the guide bush 15 is formed in a shape in response to the inner wall surface of the housing hole 14a, i.e., arc-shaped axial cross section. Thereby, the inner sliding surface 16 is invariably slided in smooth contact with the outer periphery of a piston rod 12 even when the piston rod 12 is swayed against the guide bush 15.
