发明名称 SPRAY COATING METHOD UTILIZING REBOUND MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To perform efficient spray coating by making effective use of a rebound material to be generated during spraying by spraying water from above to the rebound material generated and deposited in the stage of spray-coating a basic refractory compsn. on a tundish for continuous casting of steel and performing spray-coating, etc. CONSTITUTION:The above-described tundish is subjected to spary coating of the basic refractory compsn. consisting, by weight, of 70-95% basic aggregate, 0- 10% fibrous material, 0-10% carboneous material, 1-10% binder and 10-25% water by the following method: Water is sprayed to the rebound material generated and deposited in the stage of said spray coating or water is contained more than usual in the basic refractory compsn. or spray coating is performed by spraying water to both or increasing the water therein. The amts. of the water to be sprayed and increased are adequately in a 10-35 weight range respectively in total amt. of water. The refractory compsn. is stuck extremely well and the generation of a crack and other abnormality is eliminated in preheating prior to the use in an actual operation according to the above-mentioned method. Since the entire amt. of the rebound material is usable, the loss in spraying is extremely small.
