PURPOSE:To prevent leakage of liquefied gas through prevention of breakage of a tank, by a method wherein an inner tank and an outer tank are formed independently from each other. CONSTITUTION:When an outer pressure produced due to earthquake is exerted on an outer tank 3, the side wall and the bottom face of the outer tank 3 are deformed into various shapes. Meanwhile, since an inner tank 1 is contained in a condition to be insulated from the outer tank 3, deformation of the outer tank 3 is inhibited against transfer to the inner tank 1. In case the inner tank 1 is deformed resulting from shrinkage, since the inner tank is supported by the outer tank 3 only through a supporting plate 6, deformation of the inner tank 1 is prevented from suffering restriction. This causes liquefied gas to be normally stored in a stable condition. |
