PURPOSE:To improve safety by installing a displacement detector for detecting the displacement of an operation force transmission mechanism and an operation force detector whose contact point is opened by the displacement of a tension setting means and connecting each detector to an alarm means. CONSTITUTION:A displacement detector 15 which is set so that the contact point is switched when a lever 6 displaces over the displacement amount corresponding to the allowable abrasion amount of a lining 11 is installed onto a machine body in the vicinity of the lever 6. An operation force detector 18 whose contact point is opened by the displacement of a tension setting means 16 is installed onto a rod 17, and the displacement detector 15 and the operation force detector 18 are connected to an alarm lamp installed into an operator's room. Therefore, the using limit of the lining 11 of a band type brake can be detected automatically and quantitatively, and said detection can be informed in the operator's room. Thus, the safety of the band type brake can be improved. |
