PURPOSE:In a cosmetic pencil containing an oil and/or wax, and powder, the titled cosmetic having improved utility, low temperature dependence, preventing powder from scattering, containing a specific amount of polyethylene wax having specified molecular weight. CONSTITUTION:In a cosmetic pencil containing an oil (e.g., liquid paraffin) and/ or wax (e.g., ceresine wax), and powder (e.g., talc), the cosmetic pencil is blended with 5-30wt% polyethylene wax having 300-700 average molecular weight. The cosmetic pencil blended with the polyethylene wax in the blend range has soft touch to the skin, is easily applicable, has high breaking strength because of low temperature dependence, and not causes scattering of powder. Consequently, this cosmetic pencil may be regarded as a cosmetic having properties required as a cosmetic pencil of eye liner, eye shadow, lip pencil, etc.
