PURPOSE:To substantially improve the torsional resistance of a bearing so as to move a ball to be smoothly circulated, by forming bearing races in a circular arc structure of semicircular shape. CONSTITUTION:The main unit 1 of a bearing comprises a block structure of channel shaped section, providing a hollow recessed part 2 in its central bottom part and having skirt parts 3, 4 in its left and right sides interposing said hollow recessed part 2. A pair of left and right bearing races 11, 12 formed into a circular arc structure of semicircular shape are mounted to semicircular race housing grooves 5, 6 formed in the skirt parts 3, 4. Loaded ball grooves 13-16, extended in the axial direction and corresponding to no-loaded ball passages 7-10 formed in the main unit 1 of the bearing, are formed on the internal peripheral surface of the bearing races 11, 12. While a track bed 18, fitted into the hollow recessed part 2 of the main unit 1 of the bearing, provides loaded ball grooves 19-22, extended in the axial direction, in upper and lower ends of left and right protrusive stripes 18a, 18b of the track bed 18. |
