PURPOSE:To weld automatically a curved wire between the 1st and 2nd terminals by moving relatively the wire between an electrode and the terminals while supplying the same and pushing out the same in the direction crossing the moving direction. CONSTITUTION:A wire 1 of NI, etc. having high hardness is sandwiched between an electrode 6 and the 1st terminal 2 and the wire 1 is heated to melt by electric resistance thereby performing resistance welding between the wire 1 and the 1st terminal 2. The electrode 6 is positioned above the 2nd terminal 3 and the wire 1 is supplied. The wire 1 is drawn out and is further pushed out by such relative movement of the electrode 6, by which the wire 1 is slackened. A forming arrow is pushed out in the direction crossing the moving direction of the electrode 6 during said relative movement by which the wire 1 is curved. The electrode 6 is depressed to perform resistance welding between the 2nd terminal 3 and the wire 1. A cutter 14 is then moved to cut the wire 1. |
