PURPOSE:To keep an oil tank in a watertight manner and to simplify a fabricating work, by a method wherein a tank upper plate is formed integrally with a partition, the partition is locked to the lower end of a wick guide cylinder, and a space between the partition and a cylinder part is filled with a seal material. CONSTITUTION:A tank upper plate 1' and a partition 3' are integrally formed by a drawing process, and after a seal material 20' is additionally attached over the entire periphery of the inside in the vicinity of a locking flat part 18' of a wick guide cylinder 7', the wick guide cylinder 7' engages with an inner cylinder 16' of a tank lower late 2'. The locking flat part 18' is locked to a cut rise part 14' at the forward end of the partition 3', a space between the cylinder part 16' and the out rise part 14' is filled with the seal material 20', and a seal film 21' is formed on a contact surface between the cylinder part 16' and the wick guide cylinder 7'. This enables the inside and the outside of an oil tank to be kept in a completely watertight manner. Further, a connection between a flat part 12' of the tank upper plate 1' and a flat part 23' of the tank lower plate 2' may not be secured together by welding, resulting in facilitation of assembly.
