<p>PURPOSE:To descale efficiently and to make efficient use of an acid solution by adding a heating tank and a finish pickling tank to a device provided with a scale breaking leveler, an acid spray tank and a brush descaling tank. CONSTITUTION:A hot rolled steel sheet 1 is carried continuously on a carrying line in the direction of the arrow, and stretch distortion is given by the scale breaking leveler 2 to generate cracks in scales on the surface. The surface temperature of the plate 1 is raised by the heating tank 12 to facilitate reaction in the acid spray tank 3. Waste solution from the finish pickling tank 5 is utilized as a heating medium at this time, and the free acid in the waste solution is utilized effectively. Acid recovered by a waste acid recovering device 6 from the tank 12 is sprayed on the plate 1 in the tank 3. Thus, the scales on the plate 1 become easy to remove, scraped off in the brush descaling tank 4 and the traces of brush are erased in the tank 5, and the complete descaling is performed.</p> |
