<p>PURPOSE:To make good use of waste resin by supplying waste film to an apparatus consisting of the inner circumferential surface of an outer cylinder having diameters that reduce from the root toward the outlet, a screw shaft in said cylinder and a die having small holes at the front end of the outer cylinder to extrude said waste film in the form of strands. CONSTITUTION:The outer cylinder 10 is heated sufficiently by the heater 11 until slit film F is plasticized, the slit film F is supplied to the supply hole 18 through the guide roll 19, the slit film F is transferred by the lead angle of the groove 14 with revolution of the screw shaft 13 toward smaller diameters of the outer cylinder 10, plasticized into molten resin by the heat of the heater 11 and the friction between the outer cylinder 10 and the screw shaft 13 and transferred further toward the die 16 and extruded from the small holes 17 in the form of strand S. Thereafter, the strands are cut to a desired length to pelletized. In this manner, the slit film can be used availably without being treated as waste.</p> |
