<p>PURPOSE:The titled composition that is composed of a combination of a heavy metal salt of dithiocarbamic acid and 2-methylisothiazolin-3-one or its metal complex, thus showing stable and duratable combatting effects and further increased activity even in reduced concentration. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition contains, as active ingredients, a heavy metal salt of dithiocarbamic acid, which is known as an antifungal in the fields of agriculture and horticulture such as mangasese ethylenebis-dithiocarbamate, and 2-methylisorhiazolin-3-one of the formula (R is H, halogen) or its metal complex such as 5-chloro-2-methylisothiazolin-3-one magnesium chloride salt, preferably at a ratio of 1/50 to 1/0.02. The resultant composition shows remarkably increased activity in such a low concentration as each of them shows no activity in the separated state and the duration is also improved.</p> |
