PURPOSE:To relieve the counter-load by sensing generation of drive torque from the rear wheel side through dislocation of the driven gear from the clutch outer, and by decompressing the oil pressure contributing the power transmission. CONSTITUTION:A rapid deceleration applies counter-load from the road surface to the rear wheels, and transmission of this counter-load to the clutch causes dislocation of the driven gear 24 from the clutch outer 22, and now a slant surface 56a formed at a web part 24a of the driven gear 24 will push out a cam pin 53 against the action of a push spring 55. A support spring 50 receives the pushing force through an operating piece 54, and a push pin 51 pushes open a reed valve 49 to cause leakage of the working oil contained in an oil pressure chamber 29 from a leak hole 47. Thus the torque capacity of the clutch is reduced to serve relief of the impact force when a counter-load is applied. |
