PURPOSE:To prevent thoroughly leakage with an annular flow passage plate in producing a disc having internally annular flow passages by increasing the height of the inside and outside groove walls of the discs having annular flow passage grooves or superposing the annular disc materials via a spacer and subjecting the discs to diffusion welding under pressure. CONSTITUTION:The inside and outside groove walls 14a, 14b of discs 1, 12 having annular flow passage grooves 2, 11 are made tall and an annular disc material 15 is superposed thereon. Both surfaces are first press-welded until the high groove walls are crushed. The discs are further pressed under the weaker pressure and the inside groove walls 13a, 13b are diffusion-welded. An outside circumferential wall 12 is finally ground or machined to correct and finish the projecting parts. Since the joined parts between the inside and outside walls are securely press welded, leakage is thoroughly prevented. An annular spacer may be interposed between the discs in place of increasing the height of the walls 14a, 14b. |
