<p>The machine has an orbiting scroll member 52 co-operating with a stationary scroll member 50 and driven by e.g. an electric motor 18, through a crankshaft 20, rotation of the orbital scroll member about its own axis being prevented by a link 126 pivotally attached thereto at one end and similarly attached to a fixed ring 60 at the other end. Alternative means for preventing rotation of the orbiting scroll member are disclosed. The machine may be a refrigerant compressor. <IMAGE></p> |
