PURPOSE:To obtain a titled device of simple structure and easily maintainable in beam blanks between the first and second carrying passage consisting of crowned and flat rolls or in transferring of square steel billets, by providing inclined rails to fill up the head between them. CONSTITUTION:The lower face of the web 4 of beam blanks 1a, 1b are supported and carried by crowned carrying rolls 3a, 3b of the first carrying passages 27, 28, and placed on an intermediate truck 29 alternately. The truck 29 is moved parallel to 29' by parallel rails 31A, 31b of the same height and transferred to the second carrying passage 30 consisting of flat carrying rolls 8 as 1a'. To transfer slab as mentioned above after casting a slab 2, the level difference by the width 9 of flange of the blank 1 is formed. Accordingly, the truck 29 is switched on inclined parallel rails 32a, 32b having grade corresponding to the level difference and run. Thus, the slab 2 can be transferred without hindrance. |
