摘要 PURPOSE:To make ultrasonic automatic inspection with excellent reproducibility and accuracy, by performing calibration on levels of delay times of transmission and reception, ultrasonic wave transmission output, amplification degree of reception, distance amplitude correction of reception, and gate time base correction and judgement. CONSTITUTION:A transmission delaying quantity is determined by driving a delay time controlling circuit 6 by means of the signal of a main control circuit 7 and delayed vibration exciting pulses are generated from transmitting circuits 2a-2n. The pulses are added to ultrasonic vibrators 1a-1n and an ultrasonic beam is generated. The ultrasonic pulse is propagated through a material to be inspected as a combined wave and again converted into electric signals by the ultrasonic vibrators after it is reflected. Gains of receiving circuits 4a-4n are controlled by a control circuit 17. The main signal of an adder 8 is passed through a gate circuit 12 after it is corrected at a compensating circuit 9 and a receiving level and receiving time are detected by a receiving level detecting circuit 13 and time measuring circuit 14, respectively. Therefore, calibration of the ultrasonic inspecting device becomes possible and ultrasonic automatic inspection with excellent reproducibility and accuracy can be performed.
