<p>The invention relates to a method and a device (1, 101) for emptying bags. The bags drop into a chute (5, 102), at the bottom of which is situated a blade (7, 110). Spikes (12, 111) are driven laterally into the still filled bag, or the bag falls into these spikes. The contents of the bag pour out of the opening made by the blade while the bag is held by the spikes. Then the emptied bag is removed from the chute pneumatically or by dropping onto a deviation or is returned to its starting position by a support while the spikes are withdrawn, from which position it is removed. No rotating cutters are required, so that there is also no risk of the bag being shredded, and bag remains can thus pass to the container or the machine to be filled. <IMAGE></p> |
