PURPOSE:To make it possible to uniformly detect the spin density distribution of an object to be inspected, by holding constant difference between the resonance frequency of nuclear spin generating a resonance phenomenon in a uniform magnetic field and the frequency of a high frequency magnetic field while allowing the center frequency of the high frequency magnetic field to sweep throughout the object to be insepcted. CONSTITUTION:NMRs (nuclear magnetic resonance signals) of which the phases are mutually shifted by 90 deg. are accumulated to an adder 23 while converted to digital amounts by A/D converters 21, 22. The signal from said adder 23 is subjected to Fourier transform by a calculator to be converted to a signal of a frequency component from signal of time response. This signal shows the spin density of the moisture of an object to be inspected projected to the vertical direction of an oblique magnetic field when the NMR signals are measured. A function generator 6 is controlled so as to rotate the oblique magnetic field at a certain angle around the center axis of the object to be inspected to perform measurement for obtaining a new projected image. When a series of measurements are finished, image re-constituting operation similar to X-ray CT is performed from a plurality of projected images and the result is stored in the memory of the calculator and displayed by display 24. By sweeping throughout the object to be inspected by the center frequency of a high frequency magnetic field, the spin density distribution of the object to be inspected can be uniformly detected. |
