PURPOSE:To shorten the time of ghost elimination and realize simplified, low- cost constitution by providing a memory stored with only data on gains and positions of plural selected taps for every channel. CONSTITUTION:A video signal of every reception channel inputted to a terminal 1 is inputted to a transversal filter 2 and a subtracter 3, and supplied to the differential device 4a of a ghost detecting circuit 4. The difference signal of the difference device 4a is A/D-converted (4b) and then a cyclic integrating circuit 4c reduces its noise to apply the resulting signal to a correlator 4d. The output of the subtracter 3, on the other hand, is inputted to a comparator 4e, which compares it with a reference signal of ghost detection to output a ghost information signal to the correlator 4d. The correlator 4d operates the correlative function between said two signals to detect the time position and amplitude of a ghost component, determining the gain of each tap of the transversal filter 2. |
