PURPOSE:To prevent the nap of toner formed atop of an array of numbers of recording electrodes which are insulated from one another electrically from overlapping between adjacent electrodes by tapering tip parts of the recording electrodes toward a recording medium side. CONSTITUTION:The width X of each recording electrode 4 is set to 50mum and the recording electrode 4 is etched from at 25mum distance from the tip part to the tip to taper the tip of the recording electrode 4 to about 1mum width. Consequently, even when the gap Y between the recording electrode 4 and a recording medium 5 is held >=2.5 times as large as the mutual gap W of the recording electrodes 4, nap parts TG and TH of the toner never overlap each other on the recording medium 5, and the gap Y between the recording electrode 4 and recording medium 5 is increased greatly while high image quality is maintained. |
