PURPOSE:To allow any telephone set to transmit a similar abbreviated dial number by registering an abbreviated number and a destination number corresponding thereto on a magnetic card. CONSTITUTION:After a subscriber inserts a magnetic card 22 in the registration with abbreviation, the subscriber dials the abbreviated number in 2 digits and the desitination number in maximum 10 digits next to the abbreviation registration special number ''0*''. The fetched dial number is set on a registration table on a memory in a microcomputer constituting a control section 18. All the abbreviated numbers and the destination numbers corresponding to them on the table are written on the card 22 via a write control section 24 and a write head 26. Further, a destination number corresponding to the dialed abbreviated number is searched out from the storage content of the card 22 when dialing. |
