PURPOSE:To provide applicability of a carburettor with slide throttle valve to different types of engines by constructing the covering to fix a shaft interlocked with the throttle level seprately from the body of carburettor. CONSTITUTION:A carburettor body 14 has a cylindrical part to accommodate a fuel passge 28, nozzle 26 and throttle valve of slide type 30, and at the bottom of this throttle valve 30 a needle valve element 34 is inserted in a nozzle 26 slidably. On the top of said cylindrical part of the body 14, a covering 16 is fitted (24) having a shaft 42 to bear an arm 46, which is turned by a link 54 moving interlocked with a throttle lever. As this fit part 24 is cylindrical, a possible requirement to install the carburettor in different relative orientations with respect to the throttle lever according to the type of engine and its arrangement incl. carburettor location can be met easily by turning the covering round said cylindrical fit part 24 in any desired direction. |
