PURPOSE:To facilitate supply and discharge of the cooling-water for test by installing an opening and closing valve in a water supply pipe close to the engine side from a selector valve for connecting the engine side of the water supply pipe to a discharged-water pipe which communicates to a recovery pipe and closing said opening and closing valve when the water flow in the discharged-water pipe is exhausted. CONSTITUTION:A cooling-water supply source 3 is connected to an engine 1 to be test-operated, through a supplied-water distributing pipe 2, and a switching solenoid valve 9 and an opening and closing solenoid valve 10 are installed midway in the water supply pipe. A solenoid valve 12 for opening to the air is installed into the recovery pipe 4 for cooling-water supplied from the engine 1, and a bypass pipe 6 equipped with an opening and closing valve 7 and a discharged- water distributing pipe 8 equipped with a differential-pressure type flow switch 11 for opening and closing the opening and closing solenoid valve 10 are installed between the supplied-water distributing pipe 2 and the recovery pipe 4. When the water flow in the discharged-water distributing pipe 8 is exhausted, the opening and closing solenoid valve 10 on the engine 1 side is closed, and the feed and recovery of cooling-water during the engine operation test and the suction and recovery of the residual cooling water after the completion of test can be favourably executed. |
