PURPOSE:To obtain a movable blade tubular water turbine, in which weight and cost are reduced and the improvement of reliability can be promoted, by using a piston rod and a guide thrust bearing in this turbine. CONSTITUTION:A tapered roller bearing is arranged as a guide thrust bearing 41. As a result, rotation of a piston rod 29 can not be transmitted to a piston 38, further any concern of a temperature rise of oil due to generation of heat by rotation of the bearing can be eliminated by a large amount of oil continually flowing in a cylinder 37 and a plural number of oil circulating holes 46 arranged inside the piston 38 so as to give a circulative flow. A piston cover 39 and a thrust nut 42 play a role of both axially stopping any shift of the guide thrust bearing 41 consisting of the tapered roller bearing and transmitting hydraulic power of the piston 38 to the piston rod 29. |
