摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance the acceleration and the rate of fuel consumption and as well to prolong the lives of auxiliary units and belts, by disposing a planetary gear mechanism between the output shaft of an engine and a pulley, and as well providing a revolution-prevention releasing mechanism to the planetary gear mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A pulley 4 is free-rotatably fitted onto the output shaft 2 of an engine E, but an externally toothed sun gear 5 is relatively unrotatably fitted to the output shaft 2. On the engine body 1 side, an internally toothed sun gear 8 is free-rotatably supported such that the gear 8 surrounds the externally toothed sun gear 5, and an one-way clutch K is disposed between the internally toothed sun gear 8 and the engine body 1. A planetary gear mechanism 16 rotatably journalled to the lateral surface of the pulley 4 is disposed between both externally and internally toothed sun gears 5, 6. A revolution-prevention releasing mechanism 19 is provided to the planetary gear mechanism 16. With this arrangement power-loss upon high-speed operation of the engine may be reduced to enhance the acceleration and the rate of fuel consumption.
