PURPOSE:To improve the economy of a digital exchange by having only to provide a sole set of expanding channel memory so as to attain the provision of optional number of networks. CONSTITUTION:A network NWO is provided with the sole set of the expansion channel memory ESPMO having a storage capacity corresponding to the number of accommodated subscribers, an expanding control memory ECMO to which an address for random write is stored from a controller, and expanding registers ESO1-ESO3 storing a sound data received from other networks NW1-NW3 for one time slot of arrival. A data incoming to the own network is written in a prescribed area of the expansion channel memory among data stored in the registers ESO1-ESO3. The sound data written in is read sequentially by a count value of a counter circuit ECNT, fed to a selecting circuit SEL2 and further transmitted to a separation circuit DMPX. |
