PURPOSE:To decrease the level of a noise generated on a power line in the switching of an output level by allowing less than a half of all bits of output data to be switched in output level. CONSTITUTION:When more than a half of bits of (n)-dot data on internal buses 271-27n are inverted in logical level during output switching, the decision output J of a comparing and majority decision making circuit 28 is inverted and the data bits on the internal buses 271-27n are all inverted by selector circuits 261- 26n, transmitted to registers 231-23n, and outputted from output buffers 241- 24n while a polarity display signal P is outputted from a output buffer 31, displaying whether the output is at a positive or negative level. Therefore, the level of a noise generated on a power line during the switching of the output level is decreased, so malfunction of the integrated circuit is reduced to improve its reliability.
