摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To obtain a hydrogen absorbing mixed material having a high reaction rate by mixing Mn-Ni-Fe alloy with a specified amount of an La-Ni alloy. CONSTITUTION:An alloy represented by a formula MmNi(5-a)FeaXc and/or an alloy represented by a formula MmNi(5-a)CraXc (where X is Ti, Zr, Sn or Nb, 0<a<=1.0, and 0<=c<=1.0) is mixed with 10-30pts.wt. in total of an alloy represented by a formula LaNi5 and/or an alloy represented by a formula MmNi(5-b)AlbYd (where Y is Ti, Zr, Sn or Nb, 0<b<=1.0, and 0<=d<=1.0) to obtain a hydrogen absorbing material. This material is pulverized to about 80- 120mesh, activated, and used. Hydrogen is introduced under about 10-20kg/cm<2> pressure, and the powder is sufficiently activated by carrying out hydrogen introduction and degassing once, so the quantity of energy required to activate the powder can be reduced.</p>
