PURPOSE:To secure the reliability of an engine effectively by comparing the values given by an operating condition sensing means with the set specific values, and by generating an output signal in accordance with the condition specified by the sensing value. CONSTITUTION:This reliability securing device for an engine is composed of an operating condition sensing means 1 to sense the operating condition such as the number of revolutions of the engine, etc., a setting value generating means 2 to generate a plurality of setting values, a comparative means 3 and an output signal generating means 4. This output signal generating means 4 is to generate an output signal after a specific period of time has passed, in the condition that the sensed value is over the lower set value. If the sensed value exceeds the higher set value, output signal is generated in a short time. Thus the influence of the operating condition upon the reliability is judged correctly to serve effective security of reliability for an engine.
