PURPOSE:To secure such a separator as being low resistance in thine type, excellent in antioxidation, less in dissolution impurities and not broken even if a pole plate gets deformed during use, by spraying water soluble emulsion on a paper-made body inclusive of a lipophilic polymer fiber and then drying it upon coating or impregnation. CONSTITUTION:Water soluble emulsion is sprayed on a paper-made body inclusive of a lipophilic polymer fiber and dried upon coating or impregnation. The paper-made body consisting of, for example, a polyethylene fiber of 45wt%, a polyacrylonitrile fiber of 10wt%, a 6<phi>mumC glass fiber of 7wt% and silica pulverized powder of 38wt% is impregnated with water soluble oil emulsion (oil 10% aqueous solution) as much as equivalent and dried at a temperature of 110 deg.C, evaporating moisture up, thus a separator on which oil sticks is produced. The said oil emulsion is prepared in the following process that water soluble oil that is made of mixing paraffin system refined mineral oil 95p with a petroleum anionic active agent 5p is diluted with water. |
