PURPOSE:To realize flow meter function and flow rate limiting function by a single member, by providing a float moving up and down in a measuring flowline of which the cross sectional area is gradually increased upwardly in opposed relation to an outlet at the upper limit position thereof to partially close said outlet. CONSTITUTION:A float 5 supported by a shaft 4 moves up and down in a measuring flowline 112 of which the cross sectional area is gradually increased upwardly. When a flow rate is held to a definite value or less, the product of the flowline resistance and the flow velocity between the side wall of the flowline 112 and the float 5 detects a flow rate on the basis of the graduations 6 at the equilibrium position with the float wt. and functions as a flow meter. When the flow rate reaches the definite value and the float 5 reaches the upper limit position, the upper surface 51 of the float 5 leaves a flowline 131 communicated with an outlet 13 through a spacer 52 and the flow rate does not increase from the definite level. Therefore, the function of a flow meter and servo function for limiting the flow rate can be realized by a single member. |
