The device has electrode layers (20, 30) arranged on surfaces of a zinc oxide ceramic body (10), respectively. A zinc oxide ceramic body (40) is placed on the electrode layer (30). A zinc oxide ceramic body (60) is placed on the electrode layer (30) and at the level of a surface of the zinc oxide ceramic body (40). An electrode layer (70) is formed on a surface of the zinc oxide ceramic body (60), and an electrode (71) is arranged on the electrode layer (70), where the electrode has a terminal (c). An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a three-phase protection device.
