PURPOSE:To obtain an anisotropic sintered permanent magnet material having superior magnetic characteristics by sintering Fe alloy powder contg. a rare earth element including Y, B and a specified element. CONSTITUTION:Fe alloy powder contg. 8-30atomic% at least one kind of rare earth element including Y, 2-28atomic% B and a specified amount of one or more among Ti, Bi, Nb, Cr, W, Al, Ge, Ni, V, Ta, Mo, Mn, Sb, Sn, Zr and Hf is molded and sintered to obtain an anisotropic sintered permanent magnet material. The grain size of the sintered body is 1-90mum. A sintered permanent magnet comparable or superior to hard ferrite in magnetic characteristics is obtd. without using scarce elements such as Co. |
