PURPOSE:To realize stable picture display through simple circuit constitution by providing a circuit which sets the horizontal starting end of the display and a circuit which sets the vertical starting end of the display, and starting display operation at the points set by said setting circuits. CONSTITUTION:When a TV video signal is supplied from an input terminal, a horizontal synchronizing signal from a synchronous separating circuit 11 is obtained and the horizontal starting end setting circuit 12 sets the horizontal starting end of the display. A video signal from a video amplifier 10 is A/D- converted by the output of a sampling pulse generating circuit 13 driven by the output of the circuit 12 and supplied to a Y-side shift register 5. On the other hand, a horizontal and a vertical synchronizing signal from the synchronous separating circuit 11 are applied to the vertical starting end setting circuit 15, which sets the vertical starting end of the display to drive an X-side shift register 8. |
