PURPOSE:To eliminate ineffective switching control by sending information showing that an automobile is at a still to an automobile telephone controller and inhibiting the automobile telephone controller from performing tracking operation and switching control over radio channels. CONSTITUTION:An on-vehicle equipment has a stop-state detector 6 coupled with a speedometer 5, and a controller 3 sends information on whether the automobile is stopping or not to the automobile telephone controller 1 when originating or terminating and answering. When receiving information on the stop mode, the automobile telephone controller 1 controls neither tracking nor radio channel switching even when the electric field intensity of a signal from the automobile decreases during telephone service. |
