The pump permits cleaning by means of a go-devil, without first having to open it. Inlet and outlet are controlled by slide valves (3 and 4), in which the pipe connection (1 and 2) is made axially and the liquid passage (11) is formed like a pipe bend. The control slide valves (3 and 4) are connected to one another by control ducts (5 and 6), these being led past the pump cylinder (7) so that they project with their cross-section into this thereby forming inlet and outlet apertures (10). The drive chain wheels (14 and 15) designed as a detachable keyway connection, of the control slide valves (3 and 4) can be engaged and disengaged by means of the threaded drive (18) and of the disengaged lever (17). In this way the control slide valves (3 and 4) can be brought either into the operating position or into the scraping position regardless of the position of the pump piston (8). Recesses (9) in the piston (8) mean that when scraping in the limit position of the piston the associated control duct has a circular passage. <IMAGE>
