摘要 In a device for measuring the size of easily deformable objects, in particular tumour tissue, having a fixed and a movable probe arm with touch contact ends whose spacing is indicated on a scale, subjective influences are reduced or excluded during the scanning measurement by constructing the touch contact ends as contact plates (3, 4), and arranging that the contact plate (4) provided, in particular, on the movable probe arm (1) can be displaced relative to the probe arm (1) against an adjustable spring (9) transmitting the pressure force. The presence of the desired pressure force during the measurement operation can be detected either by simple marking in the case of the simplest embodiment, but it is also possible by means of appropriate electrical contacts to provide an optical or acoustic signal and/or to achieve automatic detection of measured values. As an alternative, it is possible to block the probe arm (1) and contact plate (4) when the desired pressure force is reached, for which in the case of an embodiment operating according to the principle of the vernier caliper it is possible to provide bridging of the spring (9) by a push rod (20) and a rolling key (21) (Fig. 5). <IMAGE>
