A smoke and heat outlet installation for flat roofs has an attachment ring and a cover fastened pivotably on the attachment ring. The plane of the upper outlet opening of the attachment ring runs at an angle, that is to say at an angle of approximately 10 DEG to 30 DEG , to the horizontal, as a result of which an influencing of the vertically emerging smoke and/or air flow by side winds is to a great extent excluded. At the same time, plane covers, for example cavity panels made of plastics or glass panels, can be used, without rain and/or condensation water remaining on the cover.
